“Be generous, and be authentic. Volunteer your time to a community-service function or even just to do a favor for a neighbor or friend.” – Kathy Phillips
R.U.F.F. - Relying Upon Furry Friends
Through R.U.F.F. pups train with staff and inmate handlers at Houtzdale State Correctional Institution for 15-18 months. At the end of the training, all inmate handlers receive a Certificate of Recognition in Canine Training and Care. Program trainers make quarterly visits to the prison throughout the training process to check progress, address challenges, and support the handlers. During the training, Inmate handlers maintain a special journal regarding the puppy. The journal then accompanies the puppy home.

1 Love 4 Animals
100% of the proceeds from the sale of this box sign supports 1 Love 4 Animals. 1 Love's primary mission has always been to rescue animals from neglectful and abusive circumstances, provide them with necessary medical care, then place them in loving homes. Since 1 Love’s inception in September 2017, we have made it possible for over one thousand dogs, cats, rabbits, and other animals to find new homes, while providing food for an additional 400 animals belonging to seniors, and families facing financial or personal difficulties.
The very definition of the word “primitive” is a quality that offers a basic level of comfort and efficiency. When Kathy adopted “Luna,” a timid Newfoundland breeding dog rescued by 1 Love 4 Animals from a PA puppy mill, she was not only prepared to provide her new dog a high level of comfort, love, and patience, Kathy and her team set about helping other mill dogs with efficiency and compassion. The money raised by the sale of Kathy’s delightful boxes will provide veterinary care for at-risk animals suffering from abuse and neglect. Learn more at: www.1love4animals.org

Sebastian Foundation
100% of the proceeds from the sale of this box sign supports The Sebastian Foundation for Animal Rescue. The Sebastian Foundation is a volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) all breed rescue organization that works to facilitate the adoption of unwanted animals. Many of the animals that come to us are through no fault of their own: divorce, illness, and financial struggles are common reasons that animals are given up. All of the animals cared for by our organization are kept in foster homes. Learn more at: www.facebook.com/SebastianFoundationforAnimalRescue/ and www.petfinder.com/shelters/PA518.html
